Christy was born on January 17, 1972, in De Queen, Arkansas. She attended the Church of Rock in Texarkana, Texas. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed traveling, going to Broken Bow Lake, and going on boat rides.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Susan Lyn Sirmon Redfearn.
Christy is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Cody (Amanda) James of Hooks, Texas, Shawn (Katie) James of Newark, Ohio; her father, John Leroy Walls, Sr. of Broken Bow, Oklahoma; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Kelly (Keith) Hamilton of Houston, Texas, Autumn (Jonathan) Dubroc of Baytown, Texas, Jennifer (Michael) Barringer of Centreville, Alabama; two brothers, John, Jr. (Nancy) Walls, Brandon McCullars of Houston, TX; seven grandchildren, Rebecca, Dalton, Gunnar, Skyla, Lincoln, Sydney, and Archer; one special uncle Bobby (Teresa) Sirmon of Horatio, Arkansas and a number of nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral services for Ms. James will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, October 18, 2025, at Wilkerson Funeral Home Chapel with Jerry Conatser officiating. Burial will follow at Redmen Cemetery in De Queen, under the direction of Wilkerson Funeral Home in De Queen.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
