Charles Stephen “Chuck” Cadle, 67, of Amigo, passed away on Tuesday, December10, 2024 in a Huntington hospital.
Born August 18, 1957, in Mullens, he was the son of the late Fred Cadle, Sr. and Betty Jean (Utt) Cadle.
Chuck was a former coalminer and was a lifelong resident of Amigo. In his leisure, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, watching his favorite team, Kansas City, and going to Graham’s Cemetery talking with friends and family. He loved his wife of 48 years, his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his daughter, Chrystal Gail Bolen; one great grandson, Steven Paul Cadle; four brothers, George Cadle, Randy Cadle, William Cadle, and Clifton Cadle; one sister, Alice Shrewsbury; one daughter-in-law, Patty Reed; and sister-in-law, Loretta.
Those left to cherish his memory include his loving and devoted wife, Charlotte Cadle; two sons, Kevin Reed (Amanda Mills) of Basin and Charles Cadle (Chassity); one sister, Patricia Bolen (Hoss) of Josephine; five brothers, Fred Cadle, Jr (Carol) of Helen, Jackie Cadle of Irish Mountain, Joe Cadle (Theresa) of Rhodell, Ricky Cadle (Vickie) of Amigo, Don Cadle (Rhonda) of Amigo; six grandchildren, Steven (Abby) Cadle of Amigo, Amber (Cord) Sargent of Amigo, Gregory (David) Reed of Coal City, Travis (Brenna) Cadle of Amigo, Jaden Cadle of Amigo, Maddie Cadle of Amigo; three great grandchildren, Jacob Adwell, Avery Bates of Amigo, and Ashton Cadle of Amigo; special aunt, Ava Utt; and numerous family members and friends.
Services will be 1:00 P.M., Sunday, December 15, 2024, at the Madeline Freewill Baptist church, Amigo with Pastor Charles Bolen and Tony Hinkle officiating. Burial will follow in the Lewis Graham Cemetery, Basin.
Friends may call one hour prior to services Sunday at the church.
Pallbearers will be Charlie Cadle, Travis Cadle, Steven Cadle, Fred Shrewsbury, Randy Cadle, Jaden Cadle, and Kevin Reed.
