Chuck Hurda

Chuck A. Hurda, age 53 of Francis Creek, passed away peacefully Friday morning, January 6th, 2023 at his residence after a 2 year battle with cancer.
Chuck was born if Prairie du Chien, WI on June 27, 1969 to Ralph Hurda and the late Mary (Woolvin) Hurda. He graduated from Valders High School with the class of 1988 then received his certificate for heavy equipment operating and his CDL. On March 10, 2001 he married Rhonda L. LaRocque in Florida.
Chuck was employed with Hamann Construction for 16 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, rebuilding four-wheelers, and spending time with his family, but most of all loved spending time with his grandkids, Alaina and Lincoln.
He is survived by his wife, Rhonda; daughter & son-in-law, Bailey (Kyle) Reever of Mishicot; son, Drew Hurda, currently serving with the U.S. Army; and his grandchildren, Alaina and Lincoln. He is further survived by his father, Ralph Hurda of Manitowoc; his siblings: Paul (Vickie) Hurda, Manitowoc, Cindy (Chase) Davis, Manitowoc, David Hurda, Menasha, and Lance Hurda, Manitowoc; his mother-in-law & father-in-law, Jeanne (Vernon) Schreiber of Manitowoc; nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Hurda; one sister, Lisa Hurda; and his father-in-law, Neil LaRocque.
A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, January 14, 2023 from 10:00 until 12 noon at the Lambert-Eckert Funeral Home, 344 S. State Street, Mishicot. Cremation has taken place.
