It is with heartache and sadness to announce that Chuck passed away, as peacefully as death would allow, surrounded by his wife, three children, and new grandson at his home on Monte Sano Mountain.

Chuck was born in Atlanta Georgia to Charles and Helen (Dickens) Yarbrough. He attended Briarwood High School and graduated from Berry College in Rome Georgia. After graduating he stayed in Rome, where he met his wife of 34 years, Regina.

Chuck built a lifelong career in the food industry. Starting at a young age at TGI Fridays until his retirement in 2021 from Treehouse Foods, with many wonderful companies in between. Not only did he build a career around food, but he loved to cook, introduce others to new foods, and experience cuisine from all over the world.

Throughout his life, Chuck traveled to many places, but it was after retirement that he wanted "to see it all" and see it all he tried to do. He was always looking for a deal to plan that next adventure. In fact, he had four
trips planned over the next few months with one being to his seventh continent, Antarctica. As a family, we will make sure some of his ashes make that journey.

Along with his wife, he leaves behind his children Remi (Zach) Saxon, Chaz (Evie) and Caden Yarbrough. His beautiful grandson Hunter James Saxon. Sisters Melissa Conn and Elise Yarbrough and brother Cameron (Jamie) Yarbrough. So, so many friends from literally all over the world and his fur babies Daisy and Buzz.

He is preceded in death by his father Charles Yarbrough Sr, mother and stepfather Helen and Charles Chambers.

Per Chuck's wishes, a memorial service will be held Saturday, November 8, 2025 at The Episcopal Church of the Nativity in Huntsville
Alabama at 1pm central time, followed by a party, next door, at Green Bus Brewing.

In lieu of flowers we are requesting donations be made to one of the following: https://berry.givingfuel.com/gift - please select "other fund" - all donations will go to a travel abroad scholarship to be set up in Chuck's name. An alternative donation option is https://www.thelivinroomhsv.org/donate-to-our-mission, which is a local needs shelter that was special to Chuck.

Regina

I am so deeply sorry for your loss. My heart goes out to you and your family at this difficult time.

I feel so blessed that I had the pleasure of working with Chuck at Sara Lee Corporation. Chuck was a dedicated leader that truly cared about people and was committed to excellence in every aspect of his responsibilities. He was well respected by everyone that worked with him at varying levels throughout the organization.

It was clear that Chuck loved his family and he loved to travel with his family. He would often share plans for his family trips with the team. His attention to detail and the planning of the logistical aspects of travel and meetings were unparalleled. Those of us that worked with Chuck benefited from some of the unique kickoff and midyear meetings he carefully and meticulously planned. Chuck was always respectful, humorous and a joy to work with. He loved life and enjoyed it to the fullest.

Your family will remain in my thoughts and prayers.
