Ciara Johnson Obituary
Obituary published on Legacy.com by All-States Cremation - Westminster on Feb. 12, 2026.
Ciara entered this world on July 8, 1988, the cherished daughter of Donald Reigh and Dawn Castillo. As the family's first grandchild, she was the undisputed center of their universe. With her halo of blonde curls and a smile that could light up a room, she was doted on by a household that included her mother Dawn, her "Gaga" John, Grandma Sharon, and Aunt Danett.
To say Ciara was well-loved is an understatement-she was documented. We have thousands of photos of those early years because the moment a camera appeared, Ciara was ready with a pose. She was a lively, spirited child who hated to miss out on the action. If she had to leave the room, she'd hold up a single pointer finger and command, "Be right back!" She even had a childhood crush on Arnold Schwarzenegger; one of her favorite memories was the Christmas her grandfather acting as Arnold "called" her. She was absolutely ecstatic.
Ciara's childhood was defined by her bond with her "best buddy" and cousin, Christopher. As she grew, her circle expanded to include friends like Sheree, Jacob, JJ, and Adam. While she was a capable student when she applied herself, her true passion was on the softball field. Our family spent many happy afternoons watching her play, cheering as she sent the ball flying with her signature hit.
In 2009, Ciara married Timothy Johnson. Together, they brought three beautiful lights into this world: Sophia Renee, Malachi Lee, and Andrew Scott. Though their marriage eventually ended, they remained amicable co-parents. Ciara loved her children deeply. She cherished the laughter she shared with her sons and the special, "best friend" bond she nurtured with Sophia. While life's circumstances often made it difficult for her to be as close to them as she wished, her heart was always with her children.
In 2019, Ciara moved to Platteville with her mother, where she spent her final years. During this time, she shared a meaningful relationship with Shawn Carlyle.
Ciara was called to her heavenly home on February 7, 2026.
A Peaceful Farewell
We take comfort in the "Good News"-that Ciara is now in the presence of her Lord and Savior. In her new home, there is no more pain, no more tears, and no more addiction. She is finally at rest, perhaps reunited with her Gaga, waiting for us all with her finger raised, saying, "Be right back."
She leaves behind a legacy of love in her children Sophia, Malachi and Andrew; her grandmother, Sharon; her Tia Deana and Aunt Danett; her cousins Christopher, Dawnelle, McKensie, John, and Reagan; and her nieces and nephews, Angel, Jerry, and Ray and DJ.
