Cinda Bull Obituary

Cinda "Cindy" Lou Bull, 70, passed away peacefully at Carriage Hill Health & Rehab Center under hospice care after a 2-year courageous fight with cancer on Saturday, August 16, 2025, in Fredericksburg.

Cindy was born on March 1,1955, in Front Royal, VA to the late Nevin Luther Bull and Mary Frances (née Shuler) Bull. Cindy graduated from Warren County High School, earned her Bachelor of Arts degree at Longwood College, and a Master's degree at James Madison University. Cindy was driven by her passion for learning and love of literature.

Cindy's love of books shaped both her personal and professional life from an early age; she was drawn to the world of reading and ultimately found her calling as a librarian. Her personal library reflected her deep appreciation for the written word, and she delighted in sharing that love with others.

A devoted member of Spotswood Baptist Church in Fredericksburg, Cindy established and managed the church library with care and dedication. Her involvement extended beyond her work with books as she valued the fellowship and enjoying spending time with church friends over lunch, conversation, and many exciting trips, including a trip to Israel and two mission trips to Japan.

Cindy started out running as a baby, which continued her entire life. Never slowing down and always on the go, she volunteered at Mary Washington Hospital after her retirement from Battlefield Elementary School in Fredericksburg.

Cindy cherished her family deeply. She is lovingly remembered by her brother, Nevin L. Bull, Jr. and wife Debbie; sister, Wanda S. Praske and husband Robert; brother, Donald A. Bull and wife Lisa; five nieces, Stacey Credle (Cliff), Allison Thorpe (Erik), Jessica Trejo (Calixto), Liza Mendez (Johan), and Emily Praske; nephew, Henry Bull; great-nieces and -nephews, Daniel and Anabella Credle, Ryan and Hayden Wetzel, and Callie Trejo; aunt, AnnaBelle (née Shuler) Harner; and many loving cousins.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, September 6, 2025, at Spotswood Baptist Church (4009 Lafayette Blvd., Fredericksburg, VA 22408). The family will receive friends and loved ones one hour prior to the service at the church. A graveside service will be held privately at Prospect Hill Cemetery at a later date.

The family wishes to thank Cindy's amazing network of friends and extended family for their support, prayers and visits during her illness. Cindy supported many charities. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Spotswood Baptist Church.

May Cindy's memory bring comfort to all who knew her as she leaves her life here and joins her Heavenly Father.
