Cindy Blosser, 66, passed away on June 10, 2025, just one day after her 66th birthday. Born on June 9, 1959, in Washington, DC, Cindy was known for her radiant smile and generous spirit throughout her life in Morgantown, WV, where she spent her final moments surrounded by love.
Cindy's life was one of devotion and service, as evidenced by her enduring career as a Certified Nursing Assistant at WVU Medicine-Ruby Hospital. There, she dedicated herself to providing comfort and care to others, approaching each day with an unwavering commitment to her patients and colleagues. Prior to her career in healthcare, Cindy worked at Morgan Shirt Factory for over 15 years, where she met one of her most treasured friends, Peggy Whisner.
Beyond her professional endeavors, Cindy was a pillar in her community. As President of the Brookhaven Community Association, she worked tirelessly to create a vibrant and supportive environment for her neighbors. Through her leadership and community involvement, Cindy forged lasting connections and exemplified what it means to be a caring neighbor.
Family was the cornerstone of Cindy's life. She leaves behind her beloved daughter: Nicole Giles (Brandon) of Cowen, WV, her cherished sister: Sheila Shea, her devoted boyfriend: James "Jim" Martin, and her dear sisters-in-law, Karen Adams and Rose Kerns; her grand fur babies, whom she adored: Foster, Shivers, Sugar Bear, Sicka Sue, E.D., Nani, and Nubbins. A doting aunt, her nieces and nephews will continue to draw inspiration from her unwavering support and the joyful memories they shared, especially her beloved great-niece: Summer Lynn Shea.
