Cindy Brown Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Sam Houston Memorial Funeral Home - Huntsville on Oct. 1, 2025.
Cindy Lynn Brown went home to sing karaoke, dance, and meet the Lord on September 24, 2025. She was a strong, beautiful, and brave mother to her four children, Kirstie, Valerie, Audrie, and Chase. She also was a wife full of surprises to her husband and true soulmate, Victor Brown.
Cindy was born on July 17, 1975, in Rosenberg, Texas. She graduated from Lamar Consolidated High School in 1993. She enrolled in Sam Houston State University where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture-Animal Science in 1997.
She leaves behind to watch over from above, her father and mother, Jake and Leona Gardovsky; sister Lisa Barbeau, brothers Phillip Gardovsky and wife Mary Gardovsky, and Matthew Gardovsky;
stepchildren Travis Brown and Travis's wife Makayla Brown, and Torie Brown; mother-in-law Glenda Runnels; her sister-in-law Veronica Burns, along with step grandchildren and many other family members and friends.
Above all, Cindy was a devoted follower and child of God. Her faith was not just something she carried; it was something she lived. She faced life's challenges with strength and unwavering trust in the Lord's plan.
Now, she rests in perfect peace, surrounded by the glory of God, reunited with loved ones gone before, and singing joyfully in the heavenly choir. Her legacy of love, kindness, and faith will live on in every life she touched.
Though we will miss her deeply, we rejoice in knowing that Cindy is finally home.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 10, 2025 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM, with a rosary beginning at 7:00 PM and services will be Saturday, October 11, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Sam Houston Memorial Funeral Home in Huntsville. Burial will follow at Plainview Cemetery in Normangee, TX. Memorial condolences may be made to the family at www.shmfh.com.
