Cindy Lou Burns, aged 69, of Brockton, MA went to be with her Lord and Savior on August 25, 2025 at HCA Florida Northside after suffering a cerebrovascular accident. Cindy enlisted and served in the United States Air Force for 4 years where she met and married her husband, serving faithfully by his side both internationally and stateside.

Cindy was proceeded in death by her mother and father, Thelma Cabral and Ron "The Golden Gladiator" Hill, and her mother and father-in-law Sue and Joseph C. Burns.

Cindy is survived by her loving husband of almost 43 years, Joseph Michael Burns; Her daughter Melissa Miller, her husband Curtis Miller and their three sons, Josiah, Micah and Eli; Her daughter Amanda Kelshaw, her husband Bill Kelshaw and their three children, Jordyn, Evynn and Boone; Her son Daniel Burns, his wife Eileen Burns and their six children, James, Roger, Clara, Mark, Ann and Steven; Her son Timothy Burns.

Cindy was an avid crafter who enjoyed collecting fabric and creating beautiful quilts with her husband, and stunning cross stitch pieces. Cindy loved all things Sound of Music, crunchy leaves, Starbucks green tea and bright happy colors. Cindy did achieve her lifelong dream of becoming a nurse several years prior to her passing.

Funeral services will be held at her home church of 18 years, Tampa Bay Presbyterian Church located at Bruce B. Downs and her earthly body will be laid to rest at Bushnell National Cemetery.
