Cindy Flores of Providence, better known to her friends as "C-C", passed away unexpectedly on the morning of December 27, 2024, at Rhode Island Hospital in Providence. She was 56 years old.
Cindy was born on January 7, 1968, in Reading, Pennsylvania to the late Shirley Schott and the late Harrison "Sonny" Hoyer. She had lived in Rhode Island since her teenage years after coming from Pennsylvania. Ms. Flores was formerly employed as a worker in a jewelry manufacturing factory. Despite whatever difficulties came Cindy's way, her heart was always filled with kindness. She was both sociable and loveable. Animals brought Cindy such happiness, especially her hamster and dogs. Ms. Flores also loved performing cosmetology and doing her nails.
Cindy Flores is survived by her children Walter Sullivan, Latoya Sullivan and Catherine Sullivan all of Virginia. She was the sister of John Klingaman of Pennsylvania, Jeremy Schott of Providence, Stacy Schott of Pennsylvania, and Rosa Schott of Providence. Cindy is reunited with her deceased siblings; the late Elizabeth Schott, Edith Schott, Melvin Klingaman, Brandon Schott and James Schott. She leaves behind 9 nieces and nephews, including her "baby girl" Siara and 4 grand nieces and nephews. Cindy is also survived by her aunt Linda Johnson of Delaware, who raised her until she was 13 years old.
In accordance with Cindy's wishes there will be no formal services. Private cremation will take place. Arrangements are under the care and direction of the Charles Coelho Funeral Home of Central Falls.
