Cindy Garcia
April 2, 1982 ~ August 23, 2024
In loving memory of Cindy Garcia, a beloved mother, sister, daughter, and friend who brightened the lives of all those around her, it is with heavy hearts that we announce her passing on August 23, 2024. Born on April 4, 1982, in Galveston, TX.
Cindy found joy in the simple things; she adored shopping for herself and others, took pride in her work selling jewelry, and cherished moments spent with her beloved grandbabies. She loved pampering herself with hair and makeup days and enjoyed going on leisurely drives to take in the beauty of the world around her.
She is survived by her children: Brandon Garza and wife, Merlin of Rosenberg; Alonzo Garza and wife, Jasmine; Karisma Garza and husband, Jacob; Madison Garcia and husband, Travis and Alyssa Zavala of Bay City; her mother Jerry, and her siblings Mario Diaz, Russell Diaz, and Marcy Diaz, grandchildren, Ava Harmony Garza, Jaxon Vasquez, Valentina Scarlett Garza and Baby Cindy. Along with nieces and nephews and numerous friends.
A Celebration of Life to honor Cindy's memory will be held at the Wharton Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 4, 2024, at 1:00 pm – 4:00 p.m. Friends, family, and all whose lives were touched by Cindy are invited to join in commemorating her spirit and the joy she brought to the world.
Let us remember Cindy Garcia not with tears, but with smiles that mirror the happiness she shared with us all throughout her life. May her spirit live on in the memories we hold dear, and may she rest in peace knowing she was loved by so many.
