Cindy Justice Obituary
Cindy Ledford Justice, lovingly known as "Cinny", passed away peacefully on Friday, May 30th, 2025, at her home in Sylva, NC. She was born in Washington DC on September 2, 1956, to the late Donald and Mamie Dean Ledford.
Cindy was known for her deep love of animals, her fondness for movies, and most importantly, her dedication to spending quality time with her family. Her daughter, Becky, was truly her pride and joy. She was not only a loving mother to her daughter, but she also extended her kindness and warmth to Becky's friends, whom she welcomed as her own. Cindy was a beloved daughter, sister, mother, and friend to many.
She is survived by her daughter Becky Justice (Maleah), sister Donna Agounine (Adell), nephew Isaac, nieces Cassie and Kellie, as well as several great-nieces and nephews and a circle of friends who considered her family.
In addition to her parents, Cindy was preceded in death by her brother, Robert Ledford.
Friends and family are invited to join in a celebration of Cindy's life on Wednesday, June 4, 2025, at Appalachian Funeral Services in Sylva, NC. The visitation will be held from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm, immediately followed by a memorial service at 1:00 pm.
The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude for all the love and support during this difficult time. Arrangements are under the care of Appalachian Funeral Services. Cindy will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
