Cindy Locklear Obituary
Cindy Marie Locklear, 63, of Fayetteville, NC went home to be with her savior Tuesday December 19, 2023 in Cape Fear Valley Medical Center surrounded by her family.
Cindy was born in Scotland County, NC on October 30, 1960. She is preceded in death by her husband, Doug Truman, her Parents, Milton Smith and Louise Smith and a brother, Charles Smith.
Cindy was a faithful member of Cape Fear Baptist Church for 20 years. She worked as the Church Secretary during that time and was a member of the WMU. She will be greatly missed by her family and all who knew her.
She is survived by her son, Doug Wesley Truman of Fayetteville; 2 sisters, Sheila Ethridge of Fayetteville and Deborah Smith of Stedman; a brother, Robert Eddie" Cook Jr. of Stedman and a host of extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be 10:00 AM -12:00 PM Saturday, December 23, 2023 at Cape Fear Baptist Church, 100 Indian Dr. Fayetteville, NC 28312. Funeral services will begin at 12:00 PM following the Visitation with Pastor Ricky Burnett officiating.
Graveside Services will follow in Fayetteville Memorial Cemetery, 2881 Gillespie Street, Fayetteville, NC 28306.
