Cindy was born September 14, 1959 in Hannibal, MO to Ira and Lois (Webber) McArthur.
Survivors include her loving and dedicated husband, Donald Logsdon; daughters Tabatha Yakes-Dougherty (Chad) of Rockford, IL, Elisabeth Yakes-Hinton (David) of Hannibal, MO, Jennifer Yakes-Hughes (Darrell) of Springfield, IL, Kathryn Logsdon-Estrada (Paul) of Temple, TX, and Elizabeth Logsdon of Mt. Sterling, IL; grandchildren Clay, Brendan, Andrew, Raven, Khloee, Jude, Eleanor, Beatrix, Ariana, Phoebe, Jayna, Brie; great grandchild Maxine; step-grandchildren Paityn, Kaiya, Jaden, Isaac, and Jose; siblings Julia Reckers (Jerome) of Payson, IL, Carl McArthur (Joyce) of Hannibal, MO, Laura Miller of Hannibal, MO; half siblings Paul Perrigo of New London, MO, and Viola (Rick) Perrigo-Hennekes of Frankford, MO; numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Cindy was preceded in death by her father Ira in 1968, her mother Lois in 2021, all her grandparents, and a stepfather.
Before becoming a nurse in 1994, Cindy was a stay-at-home mother while her three daughters were young. These years spent raising her children were the most precious to her as she made handmade clothes for them, let them be creative (and very goofy at times), and taught them (by example) how to be good people with big hearts. Constantly moving as a military family, Cindy made sure to set up safe, loving, guiding, and supportive households in many locations: Texas, California, Nebraska, Alaska, Louisiana, and her home state of Missouri. Her nursing career, spanning from 1994-2020, led to many invaluable roles in the fields of cardiology, hospice, intensive care, and drug addiction rehabilitation.
Cindy enjoyed spending time with her family and traveling side by side with her husband Don, whom she married in 2006 in Las Vegas. A loyal friend to many, she loved hosting friend game nights, parties, and weekend retreats with the Quilting Party Ladies Group with her sister and friends. She made many lifelong friends along her journey; one of them, Becky Peters Lay, traveled from TN to care for her family during her final days and beyond. Known to her grandchildren by various names (grandma, maw-maw, or meena), she tried to make fun memories with them every chance she got.
Whether it was an animal she rescued, a quilt she constructed, a meal she made from scratch, a memorable trip she planned, or a silly joke that never got old, Cindy left her mark on this world and an impact on all who knew her.

Scarlett and your OWLs vacation group
February 13, 2026
Partings come and hearts are broken,
Loved ones go with words unspoken,
Deep in our hearts there's a memory kept
Of an OWL friend we will never forget.
Our group's thoughts and prayers are with you and your family, Don. I like to imagine our OWLs in heaven greeting Cindy. She will be missed.
