Cindy Willinger, born on April 13, 1958, in Fairdale, KY, departed this life peacefully on September 23, 2025, at Kettering Medical Center, surrounded by her beloved family. A graduate of Fairdale High School, class of 1976, Cindy was known for her vibrant personality and zest for life.
Her greatest pride stemmed from her role as a devoted mother and grandmother. She cherished her children, Matthew (Amber) Willinger and Ashley Willinger (Joseph Murray), as well as her treasured grandchildren, Michael, Isaiah, and Becca Willinger, and Cassandra, Logan, and Lorelei Murray. Cindy delighted in spending quality time with her family, emphasizing the importance of love and togetherness in every gathering.
Cindy loved watching Survivor, and her hobbies reflected her nurturing spirit; she found joy in coloring and crafting, activities that allowed her to express her creativity and share moments of joy with those she adored. Cindy's legacy is one of unwavering love, making her family her proudest accomplishment.
Cindy is survived by her husband of 44 years, Mark Willinger; her children; her grandchildren; her loving sisters, Judy (Larry) Morris and Linda (Jim) Beaven; and her sister-in-law, Donna Spurling. She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Faye Spurling, and her brother, Mark Spurling.
A visitation to honor Cindy’s memory will be held on September 28, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Arpp, Root, Carter FH, located at 29 N. Main Street, Germantown, OH 45327. A funeral service will be conducted on September 29, 2025, beginning at 10:30 AM, with interment following the service at Fairview Cemetery in Gratis.
Cindy will be remembered fondly for her vibrant spirit and the love she shared so generously with her family and friends. Her memory will forever live on in the hearts of those she touched.
