Mr. Clairal D. Davis, also known as Pete, age 97, of Gallatin, TN passed away on December 30, 2024. He was born in Allen County, KY to the late Wirdney and Vera Davis on May 2, 1927.
Mr. Pete worked as a Funeral Director for many years. His first job was as a school teacher in a 2 room country school and later worked for Ferrel's Auto Supply before becoming a Funeral Director.
Mr. Pete is survived by his daughter and her husband, Nina Sue (Jim) Harner; his grandsons and their wives, Brian (Tracy) Harner and Adam (Kristy) Harner; his great-granddaughters, Autumn Harner and Arie Harner; and his great-grandson, Noah Harner; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Betty Davis; his brothers and their wives, W. C. Davis, Adolph (Betty) Davis, Aubrey Davis and Earl (Mary Nell) Davis; his sister and her husband, Wilma (Allen) Miller; and special friend, Agnes Ewen Kelley.
The service for Mr. Clairal "Pete" Davis will be held on Saturday at 12:00 PM at Woodard Funeral Home. Visitation will be on Friday, January 3, 2025 from 5:00 - 8:00 PM and on Saturday, January 4, from 10:00 AM to service time at 12:00 PM at Woodard Funeral Home with Bro. Wayne Hall officiating. Entombment will follow in Sumner Memorial Mausoleum.
