Edna Davis Obituary
Edna Carter Kimbler Davis, 86, of Columbia, KY passed away Monday, March 16, 2026, at Metcalfe County Health Care in Edmonton, KY. She was born on October 3, 1939, in Russell County, KY to the late Clifford Carter and Lola Pettyjohn Carter Shaffer. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands Robert Kimbler Sr. and Joe Davis, a son Robert Glenn Kimbler Jr. and a sister.
Edna was a member of the Royville Baptist Church in Russell County and enjoyed traveling and being outdoors.
Survivors include a son Steve Kimbler of Columbia, KY; two granddaughters Brandi Thomas and Amber Kimbler; a special brother-in-law Jerry Burton of Columbia, KY; several great grandchildren and two sisters.
Graveside services will be 11:00am Thursday, March 19, 2026, at Freedom Cemetery. Visitation will be on Thursday from 9:00-10:30am at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home.
