BRYANT, Claire M. (Hill) Age 89, died unexpectedly on Sunday, February 9, 2025, in San Diego, CA. She was born in Lexington, MA, on May 23,1935. She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 48 years, Robert R. Bryant; and five of her seven siblings. Claire leaves behind her two surviving sisters, six children, eighteen grandchildren and one great-grandson. They include her sisters, Carole Wayte of Seattle, WA and Mary Peters of Lincoln, MA; and her children: Jennifer (Michael) Duffy of San Diego, CA, Robert (Annette Boelhouwer) of Hollis, NH, Peter of New York City, NY, Thomas (Lisa) of Arlington, MA, Matthew (Pimsiree) of Hopkinton, NH, and Judith (David) Duffy of Belmont, MA. Claire attended Arlington High School and Boston University. While raising her six children in Arlington, she regularly volunteered in all their activities. She was an early education teacher at Arlington High School, worked in the Career Planning and Placement Department at Boston University's School of Management and was a board member of the Wayside Youth and Family Support Network, advocating for mental health resources for families in need. She made everyone feel especially loved and cherished and believed without doubt in the good in all of us. A Wake will be held at St. Eulalia Parish, 50 Ridge Street, Winchester, on Thursday, February 20th, from 4 to 7 pm. The Funeral Service will be held at St. Eulalia's on Friday, February 21, at 10 am.
