Claire Colantuno Obituary
1947 - 2025
Florida - Claire O'Connor (McQuarrie) Colantuno passed away on March 19th 2025, after a long battle with Alzheimer's. She passed peacefully, surrounded by family.
She was born on June 1, 1947, in Marblehead, Massachusetts. After graduating from Marblehead High School, she worked for American Airlines and traveled all over the world.
She played softball, loved to exercise, and was an avid Red Sox fan. She laughed easily and strangers loved starting conversations with her. She loved nothing more than spending time with family and loved her grandchildren more than anything.
She is survived by her husband of 49 years Chuck Colantuno of Ocala, FL; her children Lisa McManus and husband Mark of Norfolk, MA, Laura Brabazon and husband Todd of Windham, NH, and Kristin Labrecque and husband Brandon of Bristol, CT; grandchildren, Ella, Caitlyn & Patrick McManus, Thomas & Adam Brabazon, and Louie & Mykayla Labrecque; siblings, Ron Brennan, Mary Ellen and husband Robert DeAlmeida, Patricia and husband Charles Johnson, Charles and wife Peg McQuarrie, and Peter McQuarrie; many nieces and nephews and extended family.
Service Information: Her Funeral will be held on Saturday, April 5, 2025, at 11:00AM from the Solimine Funeral Home 67 Ocean Street, Lynn followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:30AM in Our Lady Star of the Sea Church, 85 Atlantic Avenue, Marblehead. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visitation will be at the Funeral Home from 9:00AM-11:00AM. Directions and guestbook at www.solimine.com
