Many members of the congregation and community enjoyed her various food dishes, cakes, pies, and especially "Miss Claire's" brownies. She made fleece hats for many years for the homeless during the cold winter months. She was well known and respected and set an example for others in her community and was always helpful and provided comfort to others in need but most of all, every person who knew Claire will remember how she always gave a loving and understanding smile for everyone regardless of life's problems.
Claire was a devoted Christian and always taught her family to follow the teachings and lessons of our Lord and to serve others and set an example to others by becoming a better Christian.
Although our family and friends will miss "Miss Claire" and her loving smile, we will find comfort and peace knowing that she is happy being with the Lord and being reunited with family and loved ones as one day we all shall be.
