Claire Malafronte Obituary
Born in Bristol, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Germaine (Chabot) Belmore.
Claire was a communicant of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church. She worked as a Jewelry Maker for many years and eventually retired as manager. In her free time she enjoyed cooking and baking. Claire loved spending time with her family.
She is survived by her daughters: Barbara Goodreau, Jane Trainor (Edward), Robin Silva; her grandchildren: Christopher Goodreau, Robin Cherenzia (Brandon), Greg Goodreau (Darlene), Matthew Silva (Julianna), Megan OConnell (Sean); her great grandchildren: Brighton Cherenzia, Liliana Goodreau, Gwen Goodreau, Winston Cherenzia, Eve Goodreau, Zachary OConnell, Siena Silva; her brothers: Richard Belmore, George Belmore, Ronald Belmore; and many extended family and friends.
In addition to her husband Crescienzo and her parents, Claire was also pre-deceased by her siblings: Norman Belmore, Gertrude Campanella, and Roger Belmore.
Visiting Hour will be held from 9:00 10:00 AM on Saturday, January 13, 2024 at Sansone Funeral Home, 192 Wood Street, Bristol. Her funeral service will start from Sansone Funeral Home at 10:00 AM with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 141 State Street, Bristol. Claire will be laid to rest with her husband Chris at St. Mary's Cemetery, Chestnut Street, Bristol. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in her name can be made to Hope Hospice and Palliative Care of Rhode Island, 1085 North Main Street, Providence, RI.
