Claire Albina Provencher, 94, a lifelong resident of Manchester, NH passed away peacefully following a long illness on November 22, 2018 at the Maple Leaf HealthCare Center in Manchester. Born on October 23, 1924 in Manchester NH, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Leda (Provencher) Provencher. She was raised and educated in Manchester, NH. She had been employed at Jefferson Mill for many years until she stepped down to care for her aging parents at home. She never married or had children of her own. She was a parishioner of Ste. Marie Church for many years. She is survived by two sisters-in-law, Annette (Groux) Provencher and Claire (Ouellette) Provencher, her niece Pauline (Delisle) Plamondon of Goffstown, NH and many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her five sisters, Reina Delisle, Yvette Morin, Lillian Wayne, Doris Plaisance and Pauline Perron and by her three brothers, Ronald Provencher, George Provencher and Andre "Pete" Provencher. The family is extremely grateful and would like to express their sincere gratitude to Claire's wonderful nieces, the late Lorraine (Delisle) Paquette and Pauline (Delisle) Plamondon for their many years of support, care and true devotion for helping out with Claire's needs while she was living at the Maple Leaf HealthCare Center in Manchester. Also, Claire's family would like to express their gratitude and many thanks for the wonderful 9 years of support and care provided by the staff at the Maple Leaf HealthCare Center while she resided there. SERVICES: There are no calling hours at the funeral home or a memorial Mass as per Claire's request. She will be buried at her parent's burial plot located at Mount Calvary Cemetery, Manchester, NH.
