Claire Reppucci Obituary

Published by Legacy from Jul. 20 to Jul. 24, 2025.
Claire M. Reppucci, 97, passed away peacefully on July 20th under the exceptional care of Mass General Hospital. She was fiercely strong and independent, remaining in her home until her final days. Claire was predeceased by her beloved husband Theodore "Teddy" as well as her two sons Kevin and Martin Joyce. Not a day went by where she did not speak of how she missed all of them and we know they are now reunited.

She enjoyed a career working at John Hancock and resided in Medford for more than 40 years where she made many friends.

Claire delighted in her daily walks around the lake with Teddy and proudly strolled downtown to do her errands well into her 90's. Claire was a lover of all things outdoors including birdwatching, beachcombing and gardening. She made a lifetime of memories and took great joy in traveling to Aruba in the winters and Cape Cod and Ogunquit, Maine in the summers. She will be sorely missed by her three surviving children Karen Venis, Lawrence Joyce, Margaret Messenger and her two daughter-in-laws, Christina Joyce and Janice Joyce. Claire was lovingly referred to as "Nana" by her adoring 10 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. Her piercing blue eyes, beautiful smile and favorite response of "nifty" will forever warm our hearts.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, August 1, 2025 at the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne, MA. at 11:30AM. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to Old Colony YMCA LIVESTRONG Program,Att: Mission Advancement Office, 320 Main Street, Brockton, MA 02301. The LIVESTRONG program supports adult cancer survivors rebuild their physical and emotional strength.
