I am sorry to hear of the passing of your Mother. She was a neat lady. I worked with her at the phone company many years ago, and we did connect on a few other occasions at reunions of WHS. Jan Surette-Mills

Claire and I were classmates at Wakefield High and we renewed our friendship in later years to the delight of my wife Joy and myself. We enjoyed sharing our faith as well as our experiences and it is comforting to know that Claire is safely home in the arms of the Lord she loved and served. Our sympathy to the entire family. "Dear Linda, Mary Ellen, Cheryl, Richard, Carolyn, and Kathleen: On behalf of my mother and myself, we are deeply sorry for your loss. Your mom was a great friend with my mom. Of course, it began during the early years o St. Joseph's Band & Color Guard and continued on way past the end of those organizations. Personally, your mom was always nice to me when my mom couldn't be my mom as a Corp. Mother and your mom would help me with my uniform and such. My mom also appreciated all you gals and Richard, watching and hearing about your lives. My mom just moved to a care facility and was hoping to invite your mom to see her. She will be quite sad to hear of Claire passing. Our deepest sympathies and condolences at this time of your sorrow.

Dear Mary Ellen, Linda, Cheryl, Richard, Kathleen and Carolyn: On behalf of my mother and me, we are deeply sorry for your loss. I have such fond memories of growing up in Wakefield, my mother at your house for coffee, your mother at our house for coffee--looking for a little peace and quiet from all us kids and adult conversation, until one of us called up, "Is my mother there?" I'm so glad they continued their friendship for all these years. My mom spoke fondly of getting together for visits when your parents moved to NH, and the fun and laughs they all had together (because we were all grown up and (mostly) out of their hair (lol)). My mom is checking with my "local" siblings (I live in Pennsylvania) to see if she can get by to pay her respects. She is hoping she can but if she can't she wanted me to let you know, what a dear lovely friend your mom has been and to say how sorry she is for your loss. Kind regards,
