Clara Braymeyer Obituary
Clara Ruth Bussell Brameyer, 80, of Newport, North Carolina, departed this life on Thursday, December 18, 2025.
A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held at St. Peter’s United Methodist Church at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, January 10, 2026.
Clara was born on March 9, 1945, in Brodhead Kentucky, to the late Oscar and Sarah Bussell. Local residents will remember her decades-long craftsmanship as co-owner of B&L Upholstery.
Clara is survived by her sons, Jan and Mark (Jo-Anne); brother, Jimmy (Barb); sister-in-law, Patti (Rod); grandchildren, Dirk (Cassidy), Christopher (Sasha), Hannah, and Ian; and 3 great-grandchildren.
As an expression of sympathy, flowers are welcome.
