Clara F. Graham, age 84, of Winnie, Texas, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 19, 2025 and went home to be with the Lord. Born on September 2, 1941, in Winnie, Texas, Clara was the youngest of three children born to Roy and Nora Lee Graham.

It is a beautiful and meaningful coincidence that Clara passed away on October 19, 2025 - exactly 78 years to the day she was baptized on October 19, 1947. Her faith remained a guiding light throughout her life, shaping her gentle spirit, her love for others, and the way she cared so deeply for everyone around her. Her journey coming full circle on that special date is a comforting reminder of her unwavering faith and the peace she has now found.

A lifelong educator, Clara earned her Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Lamar University and her Master of Education from Stephen F. Austin University. She dedicated her career to teaching in the High Island, Hamshire-Fannett, and Port Neches-Groves school districts, where she inspired generations of students with her love of teaching. Clara was known for being an excellent yet firm teacher - she expected the best from her students, and in return, she provided them with the tools, confidence, and compassion to reach their full potential. She also earned additional certifications in Supervision and Teacher Appraisal, reflecting her deep commitment to excellence and professional growth.

Outside the classroom, Clara found joy and companionship as a proud member of the Red Hat Society, where she shared laughter, friendship, and adventure with women who became like family to her. In addition, she was an active member of the Retired Teachers Association and dedicated her time and talents to the School Grants Committee, continuing to support education and fellow educators even after her retirement.

She is survived by her sister, Annie Mae Flowers, and her husband, W.T. (Tommy) Flowers; and by her niece, Debbie Edwards, and her husband, David. She is also survived by her great-nieces: Katie Thomas and her husband, Nick, and their son, Wells; Lauren Ogden and her husband, Colby, and their children, Clay and Josie; and Melinda Graham Daigle and her daughters, Sara Daigle Ogden and her husband, Robert, and their children, Cash, Cally Ann, and Colt Roy; Megan Daigle Doucet and her husband, Laine their daughter London; and Jolee Daigle Rosetta and her husband, Christopher. Additional survivors include Lura Graham Cain and her sons, Jake and Chance Roy; and Joan Graham Turner and her sons, Traeger Daigle and Graeson Turner, and Josette Gomez and their daughter Journee.

Clara was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Nora Lee Graham; her brother, Roy Graham Jr.his wife, Lois Graham; her nephew, Steven Flowers; her niece, Stacie Graham; and her great-niece and great-nephew, Tori Turner and Trace Holland.

Clara will be remembered for her kind and gentle heart, her steadfast faith, and her devotion to her family, friends, and students. Her legacy of love, learning, and laughter will live on through the countless lives she touched.
