Clara K. Johnson, 45, of Mount Vernon, OH, passed away Friday, August 16, 2024, at Grant Memorial Hospital, in Columbus, OH.
Momma CJ was born July 11th, 1979, in Wooster, OH to James Roger and Cheryl Louise {Modern} Johnson.
CJ loved cookouts and spending time with her grandchildren. She baked from time to time. She took in a lot of kids and was a second mom to many who did not have one. She loved Clayton, she was his rock. A bundle of energy, she always had something to say and loved noisy conversations all around her. She stood her ground and said what she thought.
Momma CJ will be deeply missed by fiancé Clayton Smith, her children Lillian and Jacinta Vail, stepchildren; Xaria White, Parish Smith, Caden Smith, Justen Myers; adopted children Caitlyn Nugent, Jade Burkett, Trever Culler; eight grandchildren many brothers and sisters, her best friend Brandy Edmister and too many others to name.
CJ was preceded in death by her parents, and her brother Matthew Johnson.
The family will hold a private memorial service later. Online tributes may be made at www.RobertsFuneralHome.com Memorial contributions can be made to defray the costs of her passing.
