Clara Jean "Jeana" Mead, 72, of Farmington, NM peacefully passed away on February 6th, 2024 surrounded by loved ones.
Jeana was born August 25, 1951, to Duke Williams and Madean Robins in San Francisco, CA.
On a short trip to Farmington, she met the love of her life Arvil Mead. After a whirlwind romance they were married 6 months after first meeting, on June 20, 1970. They remained married until her passing. In 1972 they had their one and only child Jeremy.
Jeana and Arvil have owned and operated Mead's Trim Shop in Farmington for over 50 years.
Jeana was predeceased by her parents, sisters Susie Lango and Anna Galaviz, sister-in-law Patsy Yarborough.
She is survived by her husband, Arvil, her son Jeremy (DeAnza), her grandchildren Tyler (Trinty), Tiaynna (Eli), Bryce and Brooke Sona. Sisters Ferni Keith, Patty Dolgoff.
Sister in laws Lois (Erinie) Dorman, Arlene (Larry) Rieker, brother-in-law Emil (Kim) Mead and numerous nieces and nephews.
Jeana will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and for her very strong work ethic.
Services will be at Emmanuel Baptist Church 211 W. 20th St., Farmington, NM. 87401 February 17, 2024, at 10:00 am. Reception to follow at the Bonnie Dallas Senior Center 109 E. La Plata St. Farmington, NM. 87401
