Clara Ellen Sigel, age 87, of Warfordsburg, Pa. passed away on Monday, July 8, 2024, at her residence.
Born Wednesday, August 12, 1936, in Little Orleans, Md., she was the daughter of the late Olan and Pearl (Hendershot) Creek.
Clara attended Needmore Bible Church. She retired from Williamsport Tannery.
She enjoyed making quilts and baking pies for her family. But most of all she enjoyed spending time, especially on Friday nights, with her family.
Clara is survived by three daughters, Darlene Hensley of Needmore, Pa., Linda Younker and husband Wayne of Hancock, Md., Tammy Crunkleton and husband Scott of Hancock, Md.; two sons, Kenneth Sigel, Jr. and wife Becky of Warfordsburg, Pa., Alan Sigel and wife Joyce of Warfordsburg, Pa.; twelve grandchildren, Roger Hensley, Brian Hensley, Amanda Proffitt, Keith Exline, Todd Exline, Ashley Powell, Kenneth Sigel III, Amber Sigel, Aaron Sigel, Becky Lynch, Kyle Ward, Samantha Barnhart; numerous great grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren; two sisters, Virginia Boor of Everett, Pa., and Mildred Dere of Warfordsburg, Pa.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Kenneth Sigel Sr.; one daughter, Debbie Sigel; one brother, Olan Creek; one sister, Rosalie Orr; and one son-in-law, Roger Hensley Sr.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 12, 2024, from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Grove-Rogowski Funeral Home, 141 West Main Street, Hancock, MD. 21750. Services will be held Saturday, July 13, 2024, at 11:00am with visitation one hour prior to the service at the Needmore Bible Church, 6939 Great Cove Road, Needmore, PA. 17238. Pastor Doug Poffenberger and Pastor Brandon Hill will officiate. Burial will follow at Cedar Grove Cemetery, 5806 Flickerville Rd, Warfordsburg, Pa. 17267.
