Clara Mae Snellgrove, age 97 of Laurel Hill, Florida passed away Wednesday, September 17, 2025. She was born on June 10, 1928, in Rose Hill, Alabama to Edgar and Mae Bell Huckaba.

Clara will be missed greatly by her children, grandchildren, family and friends and will be forever remembered as a loving and caring mother.

Clara was preceded in death by her parents Ed and Mae Bell Huckaba, husband Coley, grandson JT Scott and brother James Harold Huckaba.

Clara is survived by her Brothers Earl Flynn and wife Donna Huckaba, Edward Ervin and wife Gayle, Jimmy David and wife Jan Huckabaa, Sister Mary Opal Ansley. Daughters Betty June Wolters of Milton FL, Judy Scott of Crestview FL, sons Rudy Snellgrove of Laurel Hill and Roger and wife Becky Snellgrove. Grandchildren David, Shane, Travis, Tristan, Landon, Cierra, Amanda, Katie, Keisha, Crystal and Sharlee and 21 great grandchildren.

There will be a time of visitation on Monday, September 22, from 10:00 - 11:00 am at Whitehurst-Powell Funeral Home in Crestview. Funeral services will begin at 11:00 am. Burial services will follow at Svea Cemetery in Laurel Hill, FL.

Arrangements are entrusted with Whitehurst-Powell Funeral Home, 436 W James Lee Blvd Crestview FL 32536.
