Memorial graveside services for Clara R. "Tootsie" Walker, 95, of Vian, formerly of Wichita, Kan., will be held at 2:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 27, 2024, at Round Mountain Cemetery in Vian under the direction of Agent & Mallory-Martin Funeral Home.
Mrs. Walker was born on Sept. 10, 1929, in Geary to Lawrence Jacob White and Attie Mae (Houston) White. She died on Monday, Sept. 16, 2024, in Vian.
She formerly worked in a meat packing plant.
She married Otis M. Walker on March 17, 1944, in Vian. He preceded her in death on June 27, 1991.
Survivors include three sons, Danny O. Walker of Wichita, Casey M Walker of Vian and Jamie J. Walker of Larned, Kan.; one sister, Dora Lee of Vian; three brothers, Carl White of Muldrow and Mack White and L.A. "Duck" White both of Vian; seven grandchildren; and other family members and friends.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; two daughters, Doris Jean Walker and Patsy Ann Walker; and two brothers, Bob White and Leon White.
