Clara Alice Williams, 83, of Remington, IN passed away Tuesday, January 14, 2025 surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Pulaski County on October 17, 1941, the daughter of Walter and Elizabeth (Culp) Owens. Alice graduated from Tefft High School with the Class of 1960.
On February 3, 1962, in Medaryville, IN she married the love of her life, William "Bill" Harvey Williams. They were married for 62 wonderful years. Together they raised four children: Douglas, Steven, Karen and Edward. Alice was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening, crocheting and quilting.
She is survived by her husband, William "Bill" Williams of Remington, IN; her children: Douglas (Julie) Williams of Remington, IN, Steven Williams of Remington, IN, Karen (Bruce) Danaher of Goodland, IN and Edward (Lisa) Williams of Wolcott, IN; two brothers, Donald (Phyllis) Owens of Wheatfield, IN and Charles (Janice) Owens of Kouts, IN. Fourteen grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren also survive.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Elizabeth Owens; two brothers, Donald Owens and Charles Owens; and one granddaughter, Jessica Williams.
Friends are invited to visit with the family on Friday, January 17, 2025 from 4 p.m. until time of memorial service at 6 p.m. (Central Time) at Steinke Funeral Home of Rensselaer. Pastor Paul Dyke officiating. Private burial will be at Dobbins Cemetery in Wolcott.
