Clara Lee Wright, age 80, of Kingsport, Tennessee went to be with the Lord on Monday, July 14, 2025. She was born on July 11, 1945 to the late Coy and Thelma Lazenby.
Clara Lee is preceded in death by her late husband, John “Bobby” Wright; son, Dwight Gentry and her parents.
Left behind to cherish her memory are: daughter, Tina Hinkle; grandchildren, Brittney Hoffman, Calvin “Tyler” Hinkle and Steven Hinkle; great-grandchildren, Brackston and Piper Riness and sisters, Rose Zella Wright, Donna Pack, Shirley Bell and Delilah (Don) Beckum and daughter-in-law, Tammy Kennedy.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. Friday, July 18, 2025, in the chapel at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home & Memorial Park, Blountville, Tennessee. A funeral service officiated by Reverend Matthew Dale will commence at 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow in the Garden of Avenue of Flags.
Pallbearers will be Calvin "Tyler" Hinkle, Chris Riness, Steven Hinkle, Hunter Goodwin, Daine Hopkins, Charles Odle and Donald Morgan.
