Clarabelle Scutt of Middleville formerly of Eaton Rapids,
Passed away September 25, 2024, at the age of 91. Clarabelle was born in Potterville, Michigan on August 22, 1933, the daughter of Emanuel and Alice (Merrill) Cribley. She owned Island View Adult Foster Care in Eaton Rapids and was an amazing and dedicated caregiver. Clarabelle was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day-Saints. She also was an Awana Leader for the Baptist Church and taught Sunday School. Clarabelle enjoyed gardening. She often had such an abundance of veggies that she couldn't even give them away. She was a member of TOPS and loved attending Bingo.
Clarabelle is survived by her children, Michelle (Charles) McGeehan, Cheryl Cutler, Richard (Claudia) Scutt, Rex (Andrea) Scutt; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, brother, Joe Cribley. She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Doris Cribley, Richard Cribley, Charles Cribley, Bill Cribley, Louise Babcock, Betty Adkins.
A funeral service will be held at the Mills Funeral Home, Shelly-Odell Chapel in Eaton Rapids on October 2, 2024, at 11:00 am with visitation the evening before from 6-8 pm. Interment will be in Benton Township Cemetery. For those desiring memorial contributions may be made to Lake City Senior Center, 120 John St, Lake City MI 49651, in loving memory of Clarabelle Scutt.
