Bruce Allen Daman

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Bruce Allen Daman, who left us on July 31, 2025, in Lansing, Michigan. Bruce was born on December 26, 1953, in Lansing to Frederick and Marguerite (Allen) Daman, and he spent his life in the Grand Ledge area, where he made countless memories. Bruce was known for his hard work as a farmer and was truly a jack-of-all-trades with a knack for fixing just about anything. He had a special love for harvesting hay and spent many enjoyable hours on the farm. Bruce was a true patriot, with a passion for the military and a fascination with aircraft and steam engines. He could often be found engrossed in a good book or sharing his beautiful voice at weddings. A faithful member of the Portland United Methodist Church, Bruce had a deep commitment to his community and even helped restart the AA Chapter in Grand Ledge, where he was a sponsor for many years. Bruce leaves behind his beloved wife, Melanie; son, Devan (Francesca) Daman; step-daughter, Aubrey (Todd) Wilson; step-son, Jason Jenkins; grandchildren Dylan Jenkins, Tara Mingus, Kai Mingus, Ray MacKenzie, Curtis Wilson, and Tana Snider. He will be missed deeply by all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Lesley Fedewa and Glenn Daman. A celebration of Bruce's life will be held at a later time.
