Clare Marie (Danner) Green a resident of O'Neil Drive in Dedham, passed away peacefully at the Faulkner Hospital in Boston with her family by her side. She was 91. Clare was born July 25, 1933 in Dedham, one of the five children of August Frederick and Gladys Clare (Berry) Danner. She was the wife of the late Richard Green who predeceased her in 1991, and the mother of the late Karen O'Brien. Clare is survived by her two daughters, Barbara Knisbell of Quincy, and Joanie O'Brien of Nantucket; her two sons, Dennis O'Brien & his wife Lori and David O'Brien, both of Dedham; and her brother, Robert Danner of Weymouth, pre deceased by her brothers Conrad Danner of Texas, and Donald Danner of Texas. Loving Grandmother to Stacey, Andrea, Sean, Michelle, Jacquelyn, Olivia, Ian, Isabella, Aiden, Madison, Teagan and Rowan. She will also be deeply missed by her companion, Luis Rivera of Dedham. Clare was a longtime employee of Dedham Public Schools lunch services at the Avery School. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, June 27, 2025 at 10AM, at the Folsom Funeral Home, 87 Milton Street, Dedham, followed by interment in the Gardens at Gethsemane Cemetery, Baker Street, West Roxbury
