Clarence “Eddie” Davis, 74, of Shirley passed away Thursday, October 9, 2025 at Hancock Regional Health. He was born December 10, 1950 in Helenwood, Tennessee the son of William Howard and Genevieve (Maxwell) Davis.
Eddie loved gardening, fishing and maintaining his yard. He was a master electrician for the State. He retired from the State as a signal technician. Eddie enjoyed taking care of others, and watching old western shows and movies.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia Davis; children, Robert Davis and Darrin Davis; grandsons, Trace Davis, Thomas Davis and Tyler Cullison; siblings, Billy, Shelby, Nancy, Laura and Cindy; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Daniel Davis; siblings, Ruby, Wilma, David, Joe, Becky, Judy, Jennifer and Jimmy.
At Eddie’s request there will be no public services. Burial will be in McCray Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service, Knightstown Chapel. Condolences and memories of Eddie may be shared at www.hinsey-brown.com.
