CLARENCE H. GRISCHOW

ELGIN - Clarence H. Grischow, formerly of Addison, IL and San Dimas, CA, died peacefully February 12, 2022, at the age of 90 years, 4 months, 23 days. Born September 19, 1931, in Leyden Township, IL; he was the son of Walter and Clara (Glander) Grischow. Clarence was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army, 25th Signal Corps. He is survived by his three daughters, Linda Dotterer of Lombard, IL, Cynthia Grischow of Wood Dale, IL, and Debra Green of South Elgin, IL; adored grandfather of six, Lauren (Jerry) Simek, Shari Carnduff, Greg Grischow, Jeff (Emilie) Grischow, Julie (Edgar) Castellanos, and William Carnduff; great-grandfather of seven, Jerry, Jenna, Olivia, Ruby, Colin, Nathan, and Graham. Fond uncle of Norm (Sue) Dohe, Karen Shuput, and Glenn Grischow. Preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Lorraine Grischow; his sister and brother-in-law, Mildred (Erwin) Dohe; his brother and sister-in-law, Herbert (Lillian) Grischow, and Arthur (Helen) Grischow; and baby sister, Ella Grischow. A visitation will be held at Geils of Bensenville Funeral Home, 180 S. York Road, Bensenville, IL 60106 on February 16, 2022, from 10:30 AM - 1:00 PM. A Funeral service will start at 1:00 PM.
