Clarence Mock Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Forest Hills Funeral Homes - Palm City Chapel on Feb. 27, 2026.
Clarence "Dale" Mock of Port St. Lucie, passed away peacefully on February 25, 2026, and entered into God's open arms.

Dale was born on May 27, 1938, in Miami, FL, to the late Clarence and Mary Kay (Heaston) Mock. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 61 years, Christine "Chrissy" Mock, who passed away in 2022.

Dale spent more than 40 years working as an oil blending operator and technician at Flamingo Oil until his retirement in 2008. Known for his dedication and reliability, he took great pride in his work throughout his long career.

He was a longtime member of New Testament Baptist Church in Hialeah before moving to Port St. Lucie. Dale's faith was an important part of his life, and he and his wife Chrissy cherished attending church together and sharing their love of Christ with their church family.

Dale enjoyed a quiet life. He had a passion for sports cars (including his convertible Corvette and motorcycle), model trains, and NASCAR. He and Chrissy also enjoyed traveling together and visiting lighthouses across the United States.

Dale will be remembered for his faith, his devotion to his wife and family, and the simple passions that brought him joy throughout his life.

Dale is survived by his son Shawn (Gina) Mock; grandsons Nathan (Ruby) Mock and David Mock; great grandchildren Bella, Jason, and Emmett Mock; Many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his son Jason Mock in 2002, brother Ivan Mock, sisters Anna Mae Lippiate, Phyllis Groseclose, and Katheryn Larkin.

In lieu of flowers the family is requesting that donations be made to Lifequest Church, PO Box 875 Palm City, FL 34991.
