Clarence Rittel Obituary
He was the husband of Shirley M. (Ressler) Rittel, who died June 7, 2016.
Born in Jackson Township, Lebanon County, PA on November 9, 1936, he was a son of the late Wayne and Viola (Houtz) Rittel.
Clarence was a shipping supervisor at Quaker Alloy for many years, then P.J. Hydraulics, and then Fox's Hardware. He was an avid horseman.
Clarence is survived by a son, Rickey, husband of Debra Rittel, of Lebanon; grandchildren; Michelle Blatt, Michael, husband of Jen Rittel; great-grandchildren, Hannah Bender and Paige Blatt; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Leonard and Carl Rittel; and a sister, Pauline Grumbine.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 27, 2026 at 11 a.m. at Grose Funeral Home, 358 W. Washington Ave., Myerstown, preceded by a viewing beginning at 10 a.m. Interment will be at Zion "Goshert's" UCC Cemetery, Lebanon.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Lebanon County, 150 N. Ramona Rd., Myerstown, PA 17067.
