I thought Clarence was a hoot ... he my husband at that time played softball together ... he was always bumming cigarettes from Jerry ( sorry Kerry) he was a fine guy & genuine as they come ... I knew he was a civic leader but WOW ... I´ll see yall some day in paradise & pray we spend an eternity together glorifying our God !

My name is Bobby Welborn, I met Clarence when his daughter and my son played coed softball together when they were in Jr High. Since we are the same age, we became fast friends. Years later when his daughter was getting married, he asked me me to do security work at his house; he was a such a genuine guy, not caught up in his name, but just a nice guy; I´m really sad to see this, and my sincerest condolences go out to his family, Heaven gained an angel
