Clarence Tackett Obituary

Clarence Daniel Tackett, age 77, of Camden, died Saturday, January 22, 2005 at the Arkansas Heart Hospital in Little Rock. He was a member of the First Assembly of God Church and retired from International Paper Company Bag-Pak Division. He is preceded in death by granddaughter, Kristi Michelle Dorris. He is survived by his wife, Mildred Tackett of Camden; son, Danny Tackett of Hot Springs; three daughters, Linda Garcia and Pat Garmany both of Camden, and Shirley Orr of Tyler, TX; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at the First Assembly of God Church with burial in Mt. Horeb Cemetery. Rev. Elmer Nugent will officiate the service. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. To sign the online guest register visit www.proctorfuneralhome.com. I was so sorry to hear about Mr. Tackett. I have so many many memories of our ElDorado highway years!!! Mother and I stopped by the house the house about a year ago and visited with your mom and dad when we were there in camden visiting Sherry Lynn. I imagine they're drinking coffee together these days!! I love each of you sooo very much and never ever forget you. Take care of each other. It was good to see some of you in June when we laid Sherry Lynn to rest. With much love, Melody
