The following was lovingly written by Clarence's family...
Clarence Junior Weldon passed away at his home on Sunday, June 18, 2023.
Clarence was born September 4, 1942 in Fairfield, California to Fred and Marvene Weldon.
Clarence was the younger brother to Fred and Marvene's only daughter, Oletha.
Clarence graduated from Daniel Webster High School in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was married to
Carol Ann Davidson in 1961 and had two sons, Tracy and Tony. In 1977 Clarence married Dixie
Lee Thomas and was blessed with his third son, Clarence Darren.
Clarence's working career included working as a store manager for Safeway Grocery Stores; a
Machinist for Crane Carrier Corporation; a Truck Driver for Creek County and a Stainless Weld
Mill Operator for Webco Industries in Mannford. There wasn't much that Clarence couldn't do!
Clarence was member of the Mannford Masonic Lodge #515.
He enjoyed the fellowship andmission of the Masons.
Clarence and Dixie lived on 8 acres just off of South 48 Highway in Mannford where he loved
taking care of his game chickens, horses, dogs and even a few pigs at one point. In recent years,
during the summer, Clarence would enlist the help of his granddaughters, Taylor and Anyston,
and their friends to help him haul hay and restock the barn for his horses. About the only things
that would get Clarence to travel more than 30 minutes from home were
family reunions andtrout fishing at Roaring River State Park.
Clarence was a humble man with a deep love for his family and friends. He loved helping and
encouraging others in need. During disasters like the April 1984 tornado or the August 2012
wildfires, friends knew they could rely on Clarence for help. He also took great care of his wife
Dixie for many years after she suffered a debilitating stroke until her death in November of 2020.
Clarence loved playing the guitar. His grandchildren will always have fond memories of Pap-Paw
Clarence strumming his guitar and encouraging them to sing along to various country or gospel songs.
Clarence was preceded in death by his wife Dixie Weldon and his parents Fred and Marvene Weldon.
Clarence is survived by his son's: Tracy Weldon and wife Marci of Sand Springs, Oklahoma; Tony
Weldon and wife Jackie of Wichita, Kansas; Darren Weldon and wife Racynda of Mannford,Oklahoma;

and wife Madison of Wichita, Kansas; Samuel Weldon of Wichita, Kansas; Owen Weldon of
Sand Springs, Oklahoma; Dane Weldon of Sand Springs, Oklahoma and Kaelen Battenfield of Owasso, Oklahoma.
