Clarence Wolters

Clarence Wolters, age 86 of Zeeland, went home to rest in the arms of his Lord and Savior Saturday, November 18, 2017. Clarence was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather and his family was a source of his joy. From him they learned faithfulness, a strong work ethic, and serving with humility. He loved the Lord and was faithful to Him, his wife and family. He is preceded in death by his wife, Delia. He is survived by his children, Gary and Shannon Wolters, Calvin and Denise Wolters, Marian and Steve Grassmid; grandchildren, Bill & Amy Wolters, Nick & Becca Wolters, Derek & Rebecca Wolters, Afton & Keith Busscher, Caleb & Rachel Wolters, Brenton & Kailey Wolters, Kelsi & Philip Dirkse, Corey Grassmid, Kayleigh Grassmid; 4 great-grandchildren; his brothers and sisters, Stanley Wolters, Fred and Sari Wolters; and sisters-in-law, Ellie Wolters, Jesse Diekema; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation is 5:00-8:00 pm Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at Yntema Funeral Home, 251 S. State St. Zeeland, MI 49464. Funeral services are at 11:00 am on Wednesday, November 22 at Haven Christian Reformed Church, 541 Alice St. Zeeland, MI 49464 with Rev. Art Van Wolde & Rev. Art Schoonveld officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to Back to God Hour, Zeeland Christian Schools or Holland Christian Schools.
