Clarice K. Billig

Clarice "Clare" Katherine (Seiferman) Billig, 87, of Sartell passed away peacefully surrounded by family at the St. Cloud Hospital July 23, 2024.
Clare lived with an infectious enthusiasm for life, and her sense of humor was contagious. She enjoyed playing cards or going to the casino, bowling (in her younger years) and spending time with family.
Clare was born June 9, 1937, to Ben and Gertrude (Miller) Seiferman in Cold Spring. She was married to Charles "Dennie" Billig on Sept. 21, 1959, at St. John's Cantius Catholic Church. She worked customer service at JC Penney's for 27 years, and later worked at Sam's Club 11 years before retiring.
Clare was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church in St. Cloud, Waite Park American Legion Post #428 Lady's Auxiliary and Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie #622 Ladies Auxiliary.
She will be deeply missed by her surviving family members: husband, Dennie; children Julie (Pete) Mohs of Brainerd, Mary (Paul) Ehresmann of St. Cloud and Steve (Char Kunkel) Billig of Rochester; and sisters Helen (Ed) Maier of Sauk Rapids and Judy (Jim) Hathaway of Maple Grove. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Clare was preceded in death by her parents; son Tom Billig; and step father "Ozzie" Barthel.
Visitation will be from 9:00 - 10:45 a.m. Monday, July 29, at Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Home in St. Cloud. A Celebration of Life follows at 11 a.m. with Father Tom Olson officiating. A private burial at St. Boniface Cemetery in Cold Spring is planned at a later date.
