My condolences to Al and family in the loss of your beautiful wife. I will always remember how kind you both were in 1968 when I could no longer keep my beautiful collie. You provided a loving welcoming home and made it doable for me to proceed to school in Boston. It was so wonderful to see you both in 2015 when you came to the Miss Hampton Beach reunion in Hampton. It was so nice of you to remember me as I will be forever. Grateful to you both for your kindness. I am so sorry that I only just read about Clarice´s passing.
May she rest in peace while she forever lives in your memories and your heart! Sheila

Loved playing bridge with Cowie. She was not only razor-sharp in her plays, but also willing to explain why she chose certain plays after she won ( which she almost always did!). She was generous of spirit and kind. I was always glad when she was among the players!
