Clata Redmon Obituary
Clata Ray Redmon, age 100 of Doyle, Tennessee passed away March 16, 2025 at Life Care of Sparta surrounded by her loving family.
She was born December 18, 1924 in Spencer, TN to the late Charlie and Cleo Wilson Shockley.
She was proceeded in death by her parents; husband, Ardward Gray Redmon; sisters, Charlie May Walling, Delma Louise Shockley, Kathleen Sullivan, Lorene Clendenon and husband Jewell of Spencer; brothers, James and Lloyd Shockley; sisters-in-law, Juanita Shockley and Barbara Shockley; brothers-in-law, Dewey Sullivan and Henry Earl Walling.
Clata is survived by her stepchildren, Sandra (Skip) Mills of Tyler TX, Lloyd (Marie) Redmon of Walling, TN, Debbie Redmon of Antioch, TN, David (Pat) Redmon of McMinnville, TN, Jeff (Maggie) Redmon of Kingsport, TN, Pam (Mason) Carter of Liberty, TN, and Jerry Redmon of Antioch, TN; 12 Grandchildren and Several Great-Grandchildren.
Arrangements:
The viewing will be at Thurman Funeral Home, Wednesday, March 19, 2025 at 10:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M.
Funeral service will be at Thurman Funeral Home, Wednesday, March 19, 2025 at 1:00 P.M. Officiating will be Bro. Barry Whiteaker. Burial will follow in the New Union cemetery in Dekalb County.
