William Thomas "Bill" Redmon Jr.

William "Bill" Thomas Redmon, Jr. went home to be with the Lord on Thursday January 29, 2026. Bill was born on April 9, 1954, in Baltimore, Maryland. He graduated from Baltimore Polytechnic Institute in 1972 and served in the United States Air Force. Following his military service, he worked as a project manager for Whiting-Turner Contracting Company and moved to Colorado in 2002. He focused on community service as a deacon at Buena Vista Baptist Church, chaplain of the American Legion, facilitated Operation Evergreen providing to families at the pregnancy center, overseeing weekly free lunch ministry at the park during the summer, and procured the Fourth of July fireworks for display in Buena Vista. Every Easter, he held a sunrise service on his property.

He was preceded in death by his parents William Thomas Redmon, Sr. and Elizabeth Marie Redmon; his sister Helen "Cardy" Brandt and his brother in-law Bill Reed. He is survived by his loving wife Valerie Redmon of Buena Vista; his beloved sister Pamela Reed of Cockeysville, Maryland, his 5 children, 13 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
