Obituary of Claud Karram JR
Claud Karram Jr. was born February 19th, 1928 and died March 12th 2023. He got to celebrate his 95th birthday with his three children, Helen, Victor-John, Maria, and his daughter-in-law, Katie. He also has three grandsons, Nicholas, Christopher and Alexander. He lived a happy, full life with his wife, Aspasia (1927-2017).
He was born in Brooklyn, NY. and was the eldest of four, with his two brothers, Alfred and George, and his sister, Margaret. He served as a cook in the army on two different tours. On his return he worked in the retail jewelry business and the subsequently opened several jewelry stores on 42nd street in Manhattan with his brother, Alfred. At the peak of his career he opened additional stores in White Plains, Greenwich, and Westport.
Claud was an active member at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church and also served as a Sunday School teacher for over 25 years.
Visitation will be on Thursday, March 16, 2023 at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, 10 Mill Road, New Rochelle, NY 10804 from 10am to 11am.
Funeral Service will follow the Visitation at Holy Trinity at 11am.
Interment will follow at Ferncliff Cemetery, 280 Secor Road, Hartsdale, NY 10530 at 12:30pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church.
