Mr. Claude Edward Huff of Halifax, VA passed away Tuesday, August 27, 2024, at the age of 82. He was born in Person County, NC on December 18, 1941, to the late Elizabeth Critcher Huff and the late Flem Edward Huff. He was married for 42 years to Moneta Yeatts Huff who survives.
Mr. Huff retired from A&P Food Stores after 23 years, then worked at Star Value Market as a produce manager for over 20 years, and most recently worked at ABB as a security officer for 14 years. Claude was of the Baptist faith. In his free time Claude enjoyed tending to his garden. He loved spending time caring for his beloved pets; one dog and three cats. He adored his family and friends and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, August 31, 2024, at 12:00 P.M. at the Powell Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Todd McClure officiating. Burial to follow in Halifax Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Saturday, one hour prior to the service at Powell Funeral Home.
